Business Model

The core of the Amway Sales and Marketing Plan's income opportunity is retailing of quality Amway products by you to your customers. As your Amway business grows, the rewards you earn will grow in proportion and you can earn money in three ways:
(a) Retail Profit Margin: Distributors buy Amway products at Distributor Acquisition Price (DAP) and may resell products at a retail price, not to exceed the maximum retail price, as published. In this case, the Distributor’s income would be the difference between the DAP and retail price.
(b) Commission on Personal Purchases: In accordance with Amway’s Performance Bonus Schedule (6% - 21%) a Distributor may earn commission on the volume of the Distributor’s individual purchases of Amway products during the month.
(c) Commission on Group Sales: A Distributor may recruit a sales group and based on the success and productivity (as defined by product sales) of the sales group, a Distributor may earn commissions. It is important to note that a Distributor only earns commissions on the volume of Amway products actually sold in accordance with Amway’s Performance Bonus Schedule. The Amway Opportunity works in two-fold. Giving you a chance to build your own business at your pace and achieve the rewards and recognition linked to the plan, and at the same time helping other people do the same.

Amway Business Plan:
Amway has a system that most IBOs follow to build their business most efficiently.
Step 1: This is where the new IBO replaces their supermarket and shops at their own Amway store. Also by telling others of the Amway products IBOs can get customers for their Amway store and make retail profit in addition to their PV bonus. Step 1 involves generating enough sales monthly to get at least 300 PV to get the minimum bonus of 6%.
Step 2: By telling others about the Amway business opportunity, you get at least 6 new IBOs into your down line. Your down line goes through step one and now there are 7 of you generating 150 PV each which comes to 1050 PV and that qualifies you for the 9% Bonus.
Step 3: The six IBOs in your down line choose to expand and they each sign up at least 4 new IBOs into their down line. The 4 new IBOs in each of their down line go through step 1 and now there are 31 IBOs in your down line, all getting 100 PV each month totaling in 3100 PV which would put you into the 12% bonus level.
Step4: The IBOS at the bottom expand their business as well, each recruiting at least two IBOs and now giving you a group of 79 IBOs that altogether generate 7900 PV and this gets you to the Bonus level of 18%.

In this way you have to build your business.
Performance Bonus and Award Schedule are based on retailing of Amway products which are as under:
If you along with your Group sell Amway products equivalent to Business Volume (BV) (Business Volume (BV) is equal to the Distributor Acquisition price (DAP) of Amway products minus Taxes). Your Group Total Points would be Point Value (PV) for Amway products purchased. (Point Value (PV): Every Amway product has denominated points which you get upon purchasing Amway products for sale). This purchase of Amway products for sale will make you and your Group entitled to volume based discount/commission on Business Volume.

Current PV:BV ratio is 1 PV = 69 BV and is subject to change. *50 Personal PV required to become eligible for commission on group sale.
